I feel like it's hard to open my eyes,
but the sound of the door knocking makes me open my eyes. I Look at the clock
on the wall. It’s Half-past four in the morning. I wondered to myself, who
actually was banging on my door so early in the morning like this. In my mind, it was Yani who did it. Yani's room is not in front of my room, Yani's room is
located in the far corner of the room. I tried to muster the energy to get up
and open the door to my room which was constantly pounding. When I reached the
door, I started to pull the lever on the door and opened it. Instantly my
sleepiness disappeared. What I found in front of my room was “no one”. I looked
left and right, there was only silence. I closed my bedroom door hard and I
started to lock it. Honestly, I'm starting to get goosebumps. But I tried to
get rid of my fear by going back to sleep and wishing that I was dreaming.
Today my school feels very long. The
teacher gives a lot of material to be studied. Hour by hour was boring to me. I
glanced at my seatmate, Yani. She looked very serious listening to our biology
teacher's explanation. I suddenly remembered what happened a few days ago. The
day I was a little scared. I wanted to ask Yani if she was the one knocking
on my door, but for some reason, the question is still tucked away in my mouth.
This incident has not actually been told to anyone. I just feel unable to tell.
I'm afraid to make the girls who live in this dormitory feel as anxious and
scared as I am. In the end, I just took a deep breath. I avert my eyes and

After school ended, Yani and I did not

The girl who was facing the cafeteria
window replied, “I heard it too. because I was too curious, I finally tried to
see who was walking on the stairs on the top floor while the top floor was very
dark. And you know what I found?" Meanwhile, her other friends started to
boisterously guess what the girl had found. I strained my ears, intending to
eavesdrop. Because to be honest I'm also very curious. And when I started to
focus on hearing the girl's answer, Yani suddenly stood up from her seat and
called me,
"Kania, let's go home. I am done.
you finished eating right?” she spoke while glancing at my bowl of food which
was almost finished. Only a few bites left. I decided to focus on finishing my
food because I didn't want Yani to wait for me too long. In the end, I did not
get the answer to my curiosity.
A week after the incident I overheard
the girls talking in the cafeteria at that time. No more strange occurrences
were heard. Even so, every day I always feel anxious and afraid. I'm starting
to feel that this dormitory is indeed a little scary. But in the end, I started
to forget the incident on my bedroom door being knocked on and also started to
forget the talk of the girls that time.
Today the whole dormitory had a big
meal in the downstairs hall. But unfortunately, this evening Yani could not
attend the event. She was sick and was in her room to rest. In this event, I
had fun with my dorm mates. We ate lots of good food. This event is held after
every exam. Be it midterm or final exam. Because our midterm finished two weeks
ago, finally this event was held. While I was chatting with other friends, Yani
suddenly called me. I immediately pick up the call,
"Hello, Yani?" My greeting
started the question first. Yani immediately replied, "Kania, you just
passed in front of my room?" "You were the one who knocked on my
door?" "aren’t you?"
Yani kept pointing at me with her
questions which made me a little confused. What's really going on? I wondered.
I asked Yani to speak slowly and explain a little so that I could understand
the situation. Finally, after a few minutes passed, I began to understand the
direction of Yani's conversation. Yani turned out to be experiencing what I
experienced a few months ago. There was a knock on the door, but no one was
outside. Yani's story is almost similar to what I experienced at that time. But
I still didn't tell Yani. Because at this time Yani was alone upstairs. I was
afraid that if I told her too, it would make her even more scared and anxious.
In the end, I could only calm Yani down so she wouldn't be too scared and keep
her bedroom door locked. I looked at the clock on my smartphone, it turned out
that our event was about to end.
The morning after that night, Yani and
I chatted in her room. Yani began to narrate the incident in a coherent manner.
Starting when she was calling her mother while lying on the bed and facing the
open window of her room, she saw a black shadow passing in front of her room.
She had thought that it was Nadia. The girl in the room in front of her. But
the thing that she thought was strange was why Nadia was walking towards the

not find someone in front of her room. There is only silence.
After that incident, Yani and I
finally tried not to think too much and forget about it. Although we know that
it was a bit of a horror incident. A few days later, there was a lot of gossips
that the ghost knocking on the door often knocked on the door of our dormitory
occupants.
Suasana di rumah sakit di daerah pondok indah, Jakarta
selatan sore itu cukup ramai. Terjadi kecelakaan yang mengakibatkan seorang
pengendara sepeda motor mengalami pendarahan dihidung dan telinga. Dokter Keira
yang bertugas di IGD pu bergegas melakukan pertolongan dan pemeriksaan. Dibantu
dengan para perawat muda yang sedang magang. Setelah selesai melakukan
pemeriksaan dan penanganan kepada pasien dokter tersebut keluar dari ruang IGD.
Seseorang tiba-tiba memanggilnya, “Dokter Keira!”.
Perempuan tersebut segera menoleh kearah sumber suara. Setelah
mengetahui siapa yang menyapanya, Keira langsung mengulas senyum. Orang
tersebut adalah Dokter Tania. Teman dekat Keira.
Keira adalah seorang dokter umum disalah satu rumah sakit
swasta di kota Jakarta Selatan. Diusianya yang ke 28, dia menjadi dokter muda
yang dikagumi banyak orang karena kesabaran dan kegigihannya. Keira tipe orang
yang selalu cuek terhadap segala omongan yang datang kepadanya dan hanya focus
kepada apa yang ingin dituju dan diraih. Itulah kenapa Tania, teman keira,
sangat mengagumi dirinya.
Keira dan Tania sudah menjadi teman sejak mereka satu
jurusan saat berkuliah dulu. Mereka bahkan koas di rumah sakit yang sama sehingga
akhirnya mereka bekerja di tempat yang sama pula. Bagi Tania, Keira adalah
teman sekaligus saudara perempuannya.
“Tania.” Sapa Keira. Tania pun bergegas menghampiri
temannya. Dia langsung memeluk Keira erat.
“pulang dari rumah sakit nanti nonton yuk!. Udah lama nih
kita gak jalan bareng.” Ajak Tania.
Seketika Keira langsung meringis. Dia teringat dengan
janjinya kepada Erlangga, kekasihnya, untuk nonton film di bioskop sekaligus makan
malam hari ini. Mereka sudah berjanji untuk menghabiskan waktu berdua setelah
beberapa minggu ini Erlangga disibukkan dengan urusan kantor.
“sorry banget ya, aku gak bisa kalo hari ini. Aku udah ada
janji sama Erlangga mau kencan. udah lama kita gak kencan soalnya. Terus dia
bilang mau ngomongin sesuatu yang penting gitu.” Keira berbicara kepada Tania
dengan tatapan memohon pengertian. Tania yang mendapat respon tidak sesuai
dengan harapannya pun akhirnya merengut. Tapi kemudian dia menghela napas dan
berkata,
“it’s okay. Lain kali aja kalau begitu. Lagian emang kalian
jarang ketemu sih akhir-akhir ini. Jadi ya wajar kalau kalian mau melepas
rindu.”
Tania mengatakan hal tersebut dengan nada mengejek. Tetapi
yang diejek hanya tersenyum dan mengangguk. Akhirnya setelah mendapat penolakan
dari Keira, Tania pun pamit pergi untuk visit pasien.
Setelah kepergian Tania, Keira pun melanjutkan Langkah ke
ruangannya untuk istirahat. Di dalam ruangan yang tidak terlalu luas itu Keira
melamun. Memikirkan hubungannya dengan Erlangga yang sudah berjalan selama
hampir tiga tahun.
Masih terekam jelas diingatannya Ketika dia bertemu dengan
Erlangga yang merupakan sepupu Natasha, sahabat Keira dan Tania sewaktu kuliah
dulu.Saat itu Ketika dia dan Tania sedang
berkunjung ke rumah Natasha karena sudah lama mereka tidak bertemu, kebetulan
disana ada Erlangga. Kemudian natasha memperkenalkan keira dan tania kepada
erlangga. Erlangga memperkenalkan diri sebagai seorang general manager. Selesai
perkenalan singkat itu Erlangga merasa tertarik kepada Keira hingga akhirnya
dia mendekati Keira.
Pada saat itu Keira terlalu takut untuk menjalani sebuah
relationship karena dia terlalu sering melihat toxic relationship disekitarnya.
Apalagi tentang background keluarganya. Dia selalu merasa takut dan insecure.
Tetapi Erlangga terus meyakinkan Keira bahwa Erlangga mencintainya dan pria
tersebut merasa patut diberi kesempatan untuk itu. Erlangga terus menerus
memberi perhatian kepada Keira yang akhirnya membuat perempuan itu luluh dan
menerima cinta Erlangga.
Hingga kini, sebenarnya Keira bingung. Dia memang mencintai
Erlangga. Siapa juga yang tidak mencintai pria tampan dan penuh cinta seperti
Erlangga. Apalagi pria itu sangat mencintai ibunya. Tetapi dia masih tidak tahu
akan seperti apa akhir dari relationship ini. Karena sejujurnya, Keira tidak
mau menikah. Dia tidak mau berkomitmen dengan membentuk sebuah keluarga. Dia
terlalu takut untuk itu. keadaan keluarganya yang menjadi alasan ketakutan itu.
Ditengah-tengah lamunannya, tiba-tiba ponsel Keira berbunyi.
Keira segera menerima panggilan tersebut.
“Halo, Ad. Ada apa?” sapa Keira.
Seseorang diseberang sana menjawab, “Nanti pulang kerja
saya mau berkunjung ke rumah ibu, Kak. Kakak mau dibawakan sesuatu mungkin?”
Orang diseberang sana melanjutkan, “Ibu sama Naira seperti
biasa, saya akan bawakan makanan kesukaan mereka.”
“Oh, gak usah gapapa. Kamu langsung mampir aja ke rumah ya. Nanti
aku gak langsung pulang soalnya ada janji. Tapi Naira ada di rumah kok.” Keira
berusaha menjelaskan bahwa walaupun di rumah tidak ada dirinya, tetapi masih
ada Naira. Naira adalah adik tirinya. Anak dari ibu dan ayah tirinya yang
sekarang tinggal bersama Keira.
“oke kak kalau begitu saya tutup teleponnya ya.” orang itu
berpamitan kepada Keira.
“iya, Ad.”
Tut. Telepon pun akhirnya terputus.
Seseorang yang baru saja menelepon Keira adalah adik tiri
Keira yang bernama Adrian. Iya. Keira mempunyai dua adik tiri. Jika Naira
adalah anak dari ibunya, maka Adrian adalah anak dari ayahnya dengan istri ke-duanya.
Keira, Adrian dan Naira mereka walaupun hanya sebatas saudara tiri, tetapi
mereka tetap menjaga tali persaudaraan. Sesekali Adrian sering berkunjung ke rumha
Keira.
Adrian adalah anak piatu. Ibu Adrian sudah meninggal Karena
sakit ketika dia berusia lima tahun. Karena ayah Adrian merasa tidak sanggup
merawat anaknya sendirian akhirnya ayah Adrian menitipkan Adrian kepada paman
dan bibinya sampai Adrian lulus sekolah menengah atas. Tapi sekarang Adrian sudah
dewasa dan sudah mempunyai penghasilan sendiri sehingga dia memutuskan untuk
keluar dari rumah bibi dan pamannya dan menyewa rumah. Tetapi setiap akhir
pekan dia masih mengunjungi rumah pamannya.
Lalu bagaimana kabar ayah Keira dan Adrian? Ayah mereka
sudah menikah lagi dan mempunyai keluarga barunya di Kalimantan.
Seperti itulah gambaran keluarga Keira. Benar-benar rumit.
Ketika waktu sudah menunjukkan pukul 18.30 WIB, itu berarti
sudah waktunya Keira meninggalkan rumah sakit. Perempuan tersebut langsung menuju
toilet untuk merapikan penampilannya. Setelah itu dia bergegas ke parkiran
untuk mencari mobilnya. Keira masuk ke dalam mobilnya dan mengendarai dengan kecepatan
sedang. Jalanan ibukota sedang tidak terlalu macet hari ini.
Dan Ketika sudah sampai di tempat yang dituju, dia segera menelepon
Erlangga agar memberitahunya dimana posisi laki-laki tersebut.
Ketika laki-laki diseberang sana mengangkat panggilannya, Keira
bersuara,
“Kamu ada dimana? Aku sudah ditempat.”
“Ada di belakangmu.” Suara Erlangga terdengar dalam
ponsel Keira.
Keira menoleh ke belakang dengan smartphonenya yang masih
menempel ditelinga. Seketika Keira tertegun. Hari ini Erlangga terlihat begitu
menawan dengan setelan kemeja berwarna putih dan celana kain hitam ditambah
dengan fantofel yang mengkilat. Apalagi pria itu menggulung lengan kemejanya
hingga siku. Rambutnya yang ditata rapi memperlihatkan keningnya yang seksi. Ugh,
dan jangan lupakan kamata yang bertengger diatas hidungnya yang mancung itu. Semua
itu semakin menambah pesonanya di mata Keira.
Keira tidak tahu kenapa dia menjadi gugup dan deg degan
seperti ini. Dan lagi, Erlangga terlihat lebih menawan dari biasanya. Mungkin karena
sudah lama tidak berjumpa dan memendam rindu, jadi perasaannya sekarang
meluap-luap.
Erlangga tersenyum. Senyum yang sangat manis dan membuat
para gadis meleleh. Kemudian dia mematikan telepon, memasukkannya kedalam celana
kainnya. Keira yang gugup juga melakukan hal yang sama terhadap ponselnya dan
langsung memasukkan smartphonenya kedalam tas.
Erlangga meraih tangan gadis itu untuk digandeng.
“kamu kenapa gugup gitu?” tanya Erlangga dengan raut geli. Tidak
biasanya dia melihat kekasihnya gugup seperti ini.
“siapa yang gugup? Aku gak gugup. Cuma kaget aja tadi kamu
dibelakangku.”
Keira yang malu karena ketahuan sedang gugup langsung menjawab
pertanyaan Erlangga dengan nada penyangkalan yang terdengar lucu.
“masa sih?” sambil masih menahan rasa gelinya terhadap Keira.
Keira hanya diam.
“yaudah ayo masuk keburu malem nanti.” Tidak ingin membuat
keira tambah malu, akhirnya Erlangga langsung mengajak Keira memasuki bioskop
karena Erlangga sudah membeli tiketnya tadi.
Setelah selesai menonton film yang sukses membuat Keira
Jerit-jerit sepanjang film diputar, mereka kemudian memutuskan untuk menuju ke restoran
yang mereka pilih untuk makan malam. Erlangga dan Keira mengendarai mobilnya
masing-masing.
Erlangga mengarahkan Keira ke restoran yang berada di daerah
Senopati Jakarta Selatan. Nama restoran tersebut adalah Nana Dining. Restoran tersebut
menyediakan makanan Indonesia dengan
rasa luar biasa unik dan tentunya taste nya yang berasa “makanan mewah” itulah
yang membuat restoran ini cukup terkenal. Erlangga sudah melakukan reservasi disitu
seminggu sebelumnya. Dia mangajak Keira untuk merasakan hal baru dengan makan
di Nana Dining. Erlangga lebih dulu tiba disana kemudian disusul dengan
masukknya mobil Keira.
Ketika keira keluar dari mobilnya, Erlangga menghampirinya. Pria
itu tiba-tiba mengelus rambut Panjang Keira, kemudian menangkupkan tangan
kirinya di pipi gadis itu. Erlangga menatap mata keira dengan dalam. Pria itu seperti
sedang mencoba mengatakan sesuatu.
Tetapi tentu saja keira tidak tahu apa maksudnya, sehingga
dia hanya bisa manatap mata laki-laki itu dengan pertanyaan yang mengendap
diotaknya. Keira yang menyadari bahwa mereka masih berada di parkiran restoran akhirnya
dengan halus melepaskan tangan Erlangga. Erlangga lagi-lagi hanya tersenyum sambal
berkata, “Ayo.”
Pria itu menarik tangan kekasihnya dan menggandengnya. Memasuki
restoran bagian dalam, Keira bisa merasakan suasana yang nyaman dan hangat. Erlangga
mereservasi meja dibagian dekat jendela dengan dua tempat duduk yang saling berhadapan.
Setelah mereka memilih menu, Erlangga memulai percakapan.
“gimana tempat ini menurut kamu, Ra?”
“Bagus dan nyaman. Menunya unik-unik walaupun aku belum nyobain
gimana rasanya. Tapi semoga aja rasanya enak ya, harga per porsinya selangit
sih.” Keira mencoba berkata dengan jujur tetapi diselipi dengan nada candaan.
Walaupun dia tahu pasti bahwa dia tidak perlu mengeluarkan
uang untuk menikmati hal-hal mewah seperti ini, karena Erlangga pasti akan
dengan siap mengeluarkan dompetnya.
Mendengar kalimat dari Keira, Erlangga tertawa dan mencoba
meraih tangan Keira untuk digengam.
Dalam hati Erlangga berdoa semoga Keira jawaban Keira hari
ini sesuai dengan harapannya. Sejujurnya Erlangga saat ini sedang gugup. Tetapi
akhirnya kegugupan itu dibuyarkan oleh kedatangan pelayan yang membawa makanan
yang mereka pesan.
Mereka berdua menikmati makanan dengan khidmat.
Erlangga lebih dahulu selesai makan lebih dahulu. Dia mengamati
Keira yang sedang menikmati makanannya. Tiba-tiba saja rasa gugup itu Kembali Ketika
dia melihat keira yang sudah selesai dengan makanannya. Ini saatnya Erlangga mengatakan
tujuannya.
“Ra.” Erlangga mencoba memulai dengan memanggil Keira.
“hmm?” keira hanya menjawab dengan gumaman.
“aku mau bicara sesuatu sama kamu. Tapi sebelum itu, biarkan
aku bicara sampai selesai dan jangan memotong. Kamu mengerti?” Erlangga berusaha
meminta pengertian dari kekasihnya.
Keira akhirnya hanya bisa mengangguk dengan perasaan tidak
menentu. Antara takut dan ingin tahu apa yang akan disampaikan oleh Erlangga.
Erlangga menarik nafas pelan. Sambal berdoa didalam hati. Karena
ini akan menjadi pengalaman pertamanya.
“Ra,”
…
“kita sudah menjalin hubungan kurang lebih hampir tiga
tahun. Aku yakin kamu sudah tau kemana arah hubungan ini akan berakhir. Kita sama-sama
sudah dewasa. Aku gak mungkin macarin kamu hanya untuk seneng-seneng sedangkan
usiaku sudah gak muda lagi. Sewaktu aku nembak kamu, aku udah memikirkan akan
berakhir kemana hubungan ini. Kamu pasti paham Ra apa maksudku. Sekarang aku mau
nanya sama kamu. Kamu mau enggak menjadi pendamping hidupku, menghabiskan masa
tua bareng sama aku?”
Keira yang tidak menyangka bahwa Erlangga akan mengatakan
hal tersebut padanya hanya bisa terdiam. Dia berusaha menelan air ludah susah payah.
Melihat Keira yang hanya diam, akhirnya Erlangga bersuara
lagi.
“Ra. Kamu jawab dong, Ra.”
“kalo kamu hari ini bilang ‘yes’, Besok aku bakalan datengin
orang tua kamu buat minta ijin ngelamar kamu secara resmi.
Kita gak bisa berhubungan kayak gini terus, Ra. Usiaku udah
matang. Aku udah tiga puluh satu tahun. aku cinta sama kamu. Dan yakin kamu
juga sudah cinta kan sama aku kan? Aku tahu dulu awal-awal kamu nerima aku bukan
karena kamu merasakan cinta seperti yang aku rasakan. Kamu nerima aku karena
kamu mulai merasa terbiasa ada aku yang ngedeketin kamu terus, iya kan?”
Keira semakin terdiam. Dia terkejut mengetahui bahwa
Erlangga tahu tentang alasannya dulu. Apa dia terlalu mudah dibaca? Dia memang menerima
Erlangga menjadi kekasihnya karena dia merasa terbiasa dengan kehadiran
Erlangga disekitarnya. Keira menerima Erlangga menjadi kekasih pertamanya. Walaupun
Erlangga bukan cinta pertama bagi Keira, tetapi menjalin hubungan dengan
seorang pria adalah pengamalan pertama gadis itu.
“Tiga tahun kita bareng terus. Tiga tahun kita ngelewatin
banyak hal Bersama. Kamu gak ingin hidup bareng aku, Ra? Kamu cinta sama aku
kan, Ra?”
Erlangga terus berusaha memancing Keira agar bersuara. Pria itu
menggenggam erat tangan Keira. Sedangkan Keira semakin gelisah. Kalau ditanya apakah
dia mencintai Erlangga atau tidak, tentu saja dia mencintai pria itu. Tetapi Keira
tidak mampu mengatakannya. Dia terlalu takut.
Tidak hanya Keira yang gelisah, Erlangga pun terlihat lebih
gelisah menantikan kekasihnya membuka mulut. Dia takut mendengar jawaban Keira.
Benarkah Keira sudah mencintainya? Atau selama ini dia hanya berasumsi saja? Selama
ini Erlangga selalu yakin bahwa dia bisa membuat Keira mencintainya walaupun
diawal hubungan mereka hanya Erlangga yang jatuh cinta. Tapi bukankah cinta
bisa datang karena terbiasa?
“Aku…..maaf aku gak bisa.” Dan akhirnya Keira bersuara. Tetapi
bukan itu jawaban yang diharapkan oleh Erlangga.
“Kenapa? Kenapa kamu gak bisa? Apa kamu belum siap? Atau jangan-jangan
aku salah mengira selama ini? Kamu masih belum mencintai aku?
Aku selama dua tahun lebih berusaha membuat kamu mencintai
aku, Ra. Karena aku punya mimpi bisa menikahi kamu dan hidup Bahagia bareng kamu.
Apa yang membuat kamu gak mau menikah sama aku, Ra? Apa jangan-jangan ini
masalah status social diantara keluarga kita? Ra, keluargaku gak sepicik itu. Keluargaku
gak—”
“bukan! Bukan itu.” Keira menyela omongan Erlangga. Sungguh Keira
ingin mengatakan dengan keras bahwa dia sangat mencintai pria itu. Tetapi dia
tidak mempunyai keberanian. Dia takut akan pernikahan. Dia takut jika menikah nanti
dia tidak bisa setia seperti ayahnya, dan takut dia menjadi seorang ibu yang keras,
pemarah dan tidak sabar seperti ibunya. Dia takut menikah kemudian bercerai seperti
ayah dan ibunya.
Melihat ibunya yang bertengkar setiap hari dengan ayah
tirinya benar-benar mempengaruhi pribadi dan mentalitas gadis itu. Apalagi melihat
ayah kandungnya yang bahkan tidak peduli dengan keadaan anak-anaknya dari kedua
pernikahannya yang dulu. Ayahnya bahkan sudah tiga kali menikah, sedangkan
ibunya sudah dua kali. Semua itu benar-benar menjadi beban mentalnya. Setiap hari
dia semakin ketakutan setiap mendengar orang membahas pernikahan.
Terlalu lama diam dan
menahan diri, akhirnya Keira mulai mengatakan keresahan hatinya.
“aku gak mau menikah dan berkomitmen karena aku takut.”
“takut? Takut apa? Ngomong yang jelas, Ra!”
Keira tidak menjawab dan hanya menggelengkan kepalanya pelan.
Tidak ingin menjelaskan apapun. Tidak, Keira tidak ingin menjelaskan alasan
ketakutannya kepada Erlangga karena itu sama artinya dengan membuka aib keluarganya.
Jelas Keira tidak mau.
Tidak ingin berlama-lama disana, Keira segera bangkit dari
duduknya. Dia ingin pulang saja. Baru saja dia melangkah, dia mendengar
Erlangga bersuara lagi yang membuatnya terdiam memunggungi pria itu sembari
menahan tangis.
“Aku udah bikin kesepakatan sama mamaku. Kalau aku gak bisa bawa
kamu kepelaminan, itu artinya aku setuju buat dikenalin ke anak teman mama. Sekarang

instagramnya, tiba-tiba dia melihat Natasha memposting sebuah foto acara
pertunangan. Sosok yang ada didalam foto itu yang membuat Keira tiba-tiba
merasa sesak dan sakit. Tiba-tiba dia ingin menangis, tangannya yang sedang
memegang smartphonenya sampai bergetar. Disaat pulang dari makan malam terakhirnya
Bersama Erlangga dulu dia bahkan tidak bisa menangis. Hari ini dengan dengan
segala kekuatan yang dia punya, dia berusaha tersenyum menerima segala yang
sudah menjadi keputusannya. Katakanlah dia insane karena melepas orang setulus
Erlangga. Tapi dia akan tetap tegar. Entah sejak kapan dia merasakan hujan turun
dari matanya membasahi pipinya. Ini kah akhir dari kisah cintanya? Dalam hati

resulted in a motorcyclist bleeding in the nose and ears. Doctor Keira, who was

TADARUS ACTIVITY DURING A PANDEMIC AND ITS PRIVILEGES
The month of fasting is the month most
awaited by Muslims. Because in Muslim belief, the month of Ramadan is a month
full of blessings where each of us do something good will be rewarded with abundant
rewards. One of the activities besides fasting and tarawih prayer which is
always there during the month of Ramadan is the activity of tadarus Al-Quran.
Tadarus Al-Quran is an activity to read Al-Quran whether it is done together or
done individually. Generally if it done together, it's in a mosque. In the days
before the pandemic, usually, people would compete to the mosque to perform
tadarus. However, the whole world is currently in a pandemic. Where people are
required not to crowd and have to maintain a distance, which ultimately makes
tadarus activities in mosques no longer as busy as they were before the
pandemic.
Like the tadarus activity in the village of Alang-alang Caruban,
Jombang City. Even though the day was still dark, the cold weather caused by the
rain yesterday made most of the residents snoring behind their blankets, but
not these young people who are still enthusiastic about coloring the morning
with the strains of the holy verses of Al-Qur’an. This prayer room which used

continue to practice tadarus at the mosque by implementing restrictions on

people.
